What is Cavers?

Cavers is a flatmate-matching platform. You tell us how you live, we verify you, and a real person introduces you to people who fit.

Why Cavers and not a random listing or a WhatsApp group?

A random flatmate is a gamble on strangers. We match on habits, budget and deal breakers, not just location, and every profile is ID-checked first.

Which cities is Cavers in?

Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kochi and Delhi NCR. We grow zone by zone, so some areas are better covered than others.

Getting started

Who is Cavers for?

Anyone with a flat who needs a flatmate, anyone who needs a flat and a flatmate, and owners who want tenants.

How does it work?

Sign up and tell us about you. We verify your profile and introduce you to people who fit. Then you chat, set up a call, visit the flat and tell us if it is a match.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Cavers works in your browser, and you can add it to your home screen with the Install app button.

Matching and safety

How do you match people?

On sleep, cleanliness, guests, smoking, drinking, budget and area, plus the deal makers and deal breakers you pick.

Does a real person review the matches?

Yes. A real person reviews every match before we connect you.

Can I choose who I match with?

You set your deal breakers and your main filter, and after you meet you can mark a match as Matched or Not a match.

Chatting and moving in

What happens after we are connected?

You can chat in the app. Either of you can offer up to 3 time slots for a call and up to 3 for a flat visit, and the other person picks the one that suits.

Can I see the flat before deciding?

Yes. Flats are listed with photos, and you can set up a visit through chat.

How do I list my property?

Choose I am a Flat/Cave owner when you sign up, then add photos, rent and amenities. We introduce you to verified people looking in your area.

What is Cavers for Teams?

It is for companies and for anyone working near their office. We match people with verified flatmates and shared flats close to where they work.
